About

Alex in the little belts, MT
Hi there, my name is Alex. I currently reside in the Bozeman, Montana with my wife three cats, and a dog. I regularly enjoy good coffee, occasionally enjoy quality and not-so-quality beers, and good local food when an occasion presents itself. I listen to a wide variety of music, ranging from country twang, to hammering guitars and even good old fashioned rock and roll. I read frequently, and particularly enjoy books about motorcycle travels, both short and long.
I work for a small company out of Plantsville, CT where I work remotely doing everything from advanced web programming, to systems administration and network engineering. My job provides me a lot of personal and professional satisfaction.
My current workstation is a 3 GHZ dual-core PC, using SATA drives, viewed through a Nvidia 8800GTS and two 24′ Samsung LCD displays. While a die-hard Debian Linux fan, I have made the switch to Ubuntu Linux. My wife and I use it exclusively on all our computers.
I’m an avid motorcyclist, of all makes and models. Montana provides some of the most amazing scenic street riding, as well as some truely amazing dirt biking. I perform all the maintenance on my own motorcycles, which has lead me to seek and develop skills in welding, machining and other facets of metal fabrication and mechnical work.
